THE FOUNDER
Hi, I’m Kayla — the heart behind Marked & Bound and a reader who knows what it means to get completely lost in a story.
I grew up with a deep love for books, but like many of us, life pulled me away from reading for a while. That changed a few years ago when I picked up The Friend Zone by Abby Jimenez — and just like that, I was pulled back into a world of stories, starting with romance and quickly spiraling into fantasy. One book led to another, and before I knew it, I was reading daily, devouring audiobooks, and staying up far too late with fictional lovers, fierce heroines, and the morally gray heroes we can’t help but fall for.
My all-time favorite series? The Empyrean Series by Rebecca Yarros — it completely owns my soul. I’m also obsessed with Lights Out by Navessa Allen and the deliciously dark chaos of the Cat & Mouse Series (Haunting/Hunting Adeline) by H.D. Carlton.
